Tuna with Avocado Salsa
1 cup halved grape tomatoes
½ cup sliced red onion
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
2 avocados, peeled and diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped
½ teaspoon olive oil
2 tablespoons (divided) tamari soy sauce (gluten free)
4 Blue Ribbon Foods tuna steaks
1. Combine first 8 ingredients in a medium bowl to prepare your salsa.
2. Heat a grill pan over high heat. Coat pan lightly with olive oil. Add steaks to pan and cook 2 minutes on each side adding Tamari sauce on each side.
3. Remove steaks from grill pan; drizzle with reserved 1 tablespoon soy mixture.
4. Serve fish with salsa.
