Grilled Pork Chops & with Veggie Shrimp Packets
Serves 2
Ingredients
- 4 Blue Ribbon boneless pork chops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Instant Gourmet® Original seasoning, to taste
For the Shrimp Veggie Packets
- 2 square pieces of aluminum foil
- 2 cups frozen Oriental vegetables
- 14 Blue Ribbon P&D shrimp
- 4 tablespoons of your favorite BBQ sauce
- Make the veggie-shrimp packets by putting equal amounts of the frozen vegetables, shrimp, and BBQ sauce in the center of each foil sheet. Fold up the foil sheets to make a packet, sealing the sides so none of the juices escape during cooking. For best results, make the veggie-shrimp packets one hour before grilling. These can also be made the night before and placed in the fridge.
- Heat your grill on high for 10 minutes. In the meantime, rub the boneless pork chops with the oil and season to taste with the Instant Gourmet® seasoning.
- Place the veggie-shrimp packets on a cooler part of the grill and let them steam for 10 minutes.
- Add the seasoned pork chops to the hottest part of the grill and cook for two minutes per side to make the grill marks. Move the pork chops to a cooler part of the grill and continue to cook until just done (turning every 2-3 minutes).
Serving Suggestions: Carefully open the veggie-shrimp packets and place contents in the center of the each plate. Place the grilled chops on top of the vegetables and shrimp. Enjoy! Chef Mike
