Our gourmet Chicken Pot Pie is loaded with tender chicken and a premium mixture of garden vegetables that includes carrots, corn, peas, green beans and lima beans, combined in rich velouté sauce made with real butter. We wrap it between two flaky pastry crusts finished with hand-fluting.
While frozen the pies may be “popped” out of the aluminum pan and placed in a glass or metal pie pan. These pies may be brushed lightly with a mixture of one egg lightly beaten and one tablespoon of cold water. The pies take on an appetizing sheen as they bake. Egg white can also be substituted for a lower cholesterol dish.
